Which emul10k1 driver do you use ? And which Kernel ?

For Kernels till 2.4.20 I think the emu10k1 driver from SF (formerly
from opensource.creative.com) http://sourceforge.net/projects/emu10k1 is
the better choice. 

The SB-Life driver fomr 2.4.21 works well till now. 

Does the recording work afterwards again ? I think I remember that my
SB-Life needed a reboot after that error.

That is good, but usually the SB-Life can share its IRQ without
problems.
