I don't think there are any changes that are needed unless Mandrake
has goofed up the system headers or compiler ;)
I build mjpegtools on 3 or 4 different OSs/distributions (including
MAC OS/X) and don't need to touch a think - it all "just works" fine.

That sounds like an excellent idea! ;)
If you do run into troubles let us know (cut&paste the errors too ;))
Overall you _should_ find the CVS version to be a big improvement
over the 1.6.1 release.
