LML originally wrote some drivers for their card, but they weren't very good and didn't use the V4L interface (they probably pre-dated V4L though..) Then the open source drivers for the Buz & DC10+, which use the same Zoran chip as the LML33 (but are only $60), was written and much better than LML's driver. So now they tell you to use that one. The problem with the zoran chipsets cards, DC10+, LML33, Buz, etc., isn't so much the drivers, but rather that the zoran PCI implementation is one of the worst ever created. If you happen to have a working hardware config (like 440BX chipset and no SB live card), it will work fine. Otherwise, stability is pretty much hopeless. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.NET email is sponsored by: SourceForge Enterprise Edition + IBM + LinuxWorld = Something 2 See! http://www.vasoftware.com _______________________________________________ Mjpeg-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mjpeg-users
