I do know that "Live CDs" are basically "legacy", now that a) most newer machines can boot from USB, b) USB flash drives are relatively cheap, c) USB flash drives generally have more storage space than a CD, d) USB flash drives can actually be written to, e) many machines these days don't come with optical drives, f) USB flash drives are smaller than CDs, g) USB flash drives are more likely to be reused than tossed into the trash, ... -- jake...@sdf.lonestar.org SDF Public Access UNIX System - http://sdf.lonestar.org
