building for ? Do you only build kernels ? Full make build ? Making
Xorg ? I have 'WRKOBJDIR=/usr/obj/ports' for ports building, that also
takes some room.

So the correct answer is "depends". With current disksizes, giving it
a couple of G's shouldn't hurt and will give you plenty of room to do
whatever.

Mine is currently 7.G, so I'm guessing that I can cut that at least in half with impunity on i386.
