In the past, in the win95/98 world, explorer definitely had issues with
large and lots of files.  I remember copying 4000+ files, and have it
complete successfully, but the destination did not have all the files (some
were corrupted).  Dos copy had no issues.  Since then, I have head sporadic
reports of explorer issues copying large/lots of files.
