You cannot, of course. But janitor being a rookie doesn't imply he doesn't know what he's doing. He could be doing a job that doesn't require any special knowledge - like rewriting documentation into a different format, fixing HTML correctness, fixing typos and unclear places in text - or who asks if he isn't sure how to continue properly.
