I don't see any harm in what he does. Is he forcing you to use his software? No. So what's the harm? Why the hostility? And concerning the hidden subtext: isn't that part of the reason OpenBSD exists after all? I guess we would be using NetBSD instead then. I haven't taken a look at his software but in general I welcome any addition to the choices there already are. What I don't welcome is this hostile environment on this list. This is not the spirit I'm used to when getting involved with Open Source projects. It's his freedom to create things, it's his freedom to announce such stuff here.
