At the end of last year, I installed OpenBSD 7.6 as a VMware Guest for
the first time.
I am enjoying using it with the xfce4 Desktop, and I’m very impressed
with it.
However, there is one thing I would like to mention. I’m sure this has
been requested many times, but having an open-vm-tools package would be
a great help.
I tried downloading it from GitHub and building it myself, but I
couldn’t succeed. Is it due to licensing issues that it’s not included?
If so, that’s truly unfortunate.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could reconsider this matter.
