Android is the most targeted platform by malware by a massive degree. Whatever 
you do, don't get an android.

I think Google's business model makes it more untrustworthy. They're in the 
business of finding new ways to spy on you.

Other than that, I used to use BlackBerry 10 heavily but hated the fact it 
could run android apps so I switched to Windows Phone 8.1 when that got 
half-decent VPN support and BBM.

Still, I never feel 100% confident with any phone.
