well I don't know much but the point in removing 90k of c code lines from something that is messed up means to make it more solid but that's just my point of view and I'm just a dummy

It is something, but removal of windows/obsolete OS code does not make crypto, protocols and design stronger.

It sure makes it easier to parse and correct/audit various parts of the code.

Anyway I'm not putting flames on LibreSSL project here. I too hope it becomes a better product than OpenSSL and also that it will not share the same vulnerabilities.
