He was just being sarcastic. Peter's (well taken) point is that OpenBSD is crucially lacking support for the larger floppy media from the last 40 years. A large oversight, indeed. Ever since I read it hours ago, I have been working furiously adding support for PDP-11s so that we have something that can accept an 8" floppy drive. I've also decided to take the second challenge, and shrink the install media down to 1.2MB to support a 5.25 floppy. I think we finally have a way out of this mess.
