Theo ended up wasting time on a bug report that turned out to be virtualbox handling memory badly I think. Vmware player works a lot better than virtualbox. I tried switching to virtualbox for 3D support, but switched right back when I found out. Remember before reporting any bugs to try them on real hardware with a generic kernel first though.
