I did the above and got squid-2.5.STABLE10-transparent. I added this to pf.conf:
rdr on $int_if inet proto tcp from any to any port www -> 127.0.0.1 port 3128
Edited squid.conf, rebuilt squid cache dirs, started squid, added it to /etc/rc.local and redid the rules (pfctl -f /etc/pf.conf)
et voila!
