Yes, use DHCP. The thing you want to do is insure that the Meditech name for
each PC matches its Windows name. Leave blank the entry for the IP address
(Meditech will match the name up and bring in the address).

Subject: IP Addresses

We are currently using static IP addresses for our computers and entering this
information in Meditech under EXT.OPS, 1.System Information, 20. Enter/Edit
Termservers, PCs, RemoteHosts with the Model? being TELNET EZ. Our new network
administrator wants to go to DHCP. How is everyone else operating? Static IP
or DHCP? If we switch to DHCP what do we have to do to make Meditech work? We
are currently MAGIC 5.4 but will be upgrading to 5.6.1 this year.
