School board has provided school with cable modem. Now all fourty win95
workstations and 3 linux boxes get access to the internet. According to
government rules, school board put their OS as a firewall and web
server. All linux boxes can't use ftp and telnet (just http port 80);
all other ports were cut off. I am thinking to help my friend to build
pptp tunnelling capable going through this OS proxy. We are using
debian distribution and have huge demands for uploading different kind
of programs using ftp services. I am not familiar with pptp

All school computers (Linux and Windows 95) have static IP Address from
the same network as proxy OS server. All school workstations point to
linux proxy server and then linux proxy server through apache web server
redirect proxy request to OS proxy server.
My question is : Is it possible to install pptp on school linux box and
my home linux box and make ftp/telnet connections from internet to
school linux box and in reverse through School Board OS Proxy Server???
Any help (resource on the net) would be greatly appreaciated.
Thanks.
