Well, according to the Linux IPmasq Applications page (
http://www.atlantic-online.ns.ca/ipmasq_apps/ ) ip_masq_irc is all you
need. But they recommend adding ports to the command incase you are
using irc on nonstandard ports ( 6667 )

part of the main kernel distribution.

To get DCC to work on non-standard IRC ports (i.e. not 6667)
modify your insmod call to
insmod ip_masq_irc ports=6667,6666,6665,1024,...
This will cause the module to listen on the ports specified for
outbound DCC requests.
