There doesn't seem to be anything useful in the archives of the masq list
over the last six months (I tested the search engine with this, and there
are just a lot of people who ask). I will see if I can add more messages
from farther back into the archive and the search engine. There are people
going back a year and a half (January '98) who say it does work.
The HOWTO gives a solution to a DCC send issue with mIRC, see section 7.19
of v1.71 found at:

Matt, does this address your problem? If not, please tell the list what
you've tried

answer, if not THE right answer.
I made a temporary index page of all masq messages in my archive that
contain "irc" and "dcc" on the same line, so you might wnat to go through
the list at:
http://home.indyramp.com/lists/masq/list1.html
until I get the archive rebuilt and the search engine updated. A lot of
those messages are not in the indexed archive, so until the new database
is built this is the only way to get to them.
