Not necessarily. A "554" type of error code means that there is a fatal
error. A server that's not running is not considered fatal -- stuff
like that happens all the time on the Internet. :)
Usually following the "Service unavailable" message will be an
explanation of what the mailer was trying to do when it failed. The
one-line message isn't enough to explain the problem.
At any rate, it's almost certainly not a masq problem, but a mailer-
config problem.
Unfortunately I seem to have missed the initial message with the full
session transcript, so I can't offer additional help.
