"The maintenance of economic domination by the more powerful capitalist countries over the same areas that were colonies" is the point I was making to distinguish the current post-colonial era from the previous one Lenin wrote about when the imperialist nations conquered and occupied overseas territories and deprived them of political independence. Like others on the list, I've understood for more than a half century that colonial political independence after WW II has not been accompanied by economic independence. 2.
