I have not been following this entire thread, but this caught my eye:

My opinion is that China is gradually replacing the US as the world's top
imperialist power.
Intially, China will displace the US as the most powerful in East Asia. It
looks to me like nothing can stop China eventually gaining control over Taiwan.
Does this mean that war between China and the U.S. (over Taiwan, or in the
South or East China Sea) is inevitable? Not necessarily. But it is becoming
increasingly likely.
