Perhaps your characterisation of why the reasons the ML parties split as being the "same" as the reason the Trotsky parties split may not be quite right is this: The reasons (apart from the supervening personality ones, which were not to be minimised and numerous) were : Khruschevism; Maoist; Guevararism-Castroism. Each had clear ideological pegs. Anyway, no worries - be well. H
