We are all appalled at Israel's genocide in Gaza. But when did Che Guevara organize a massacre of thousands of civilians as a form of struggle? And when did Hamas declare itself for class struggle, or socialism, or the liberation of all worldwide? I appreciate the sentiment, but let's not besmirch real Marxist heroes with a Reagan-like "moral equivalent of the founding fathers " kind of analogy. Hamas was favored by Netanyahu precisely to do away with the secular left in Palestine.
