Actually, and I assume it was the whole point of this thread, Msrx was seriously considering moving to Texas at one point. I think my friend Harry Cleaver may have written on it. I can't remember at which point in his life, but he was in contact with German communists in Texas. Harry wrote that he would have encountered abolitionists, utopian communes, and indigenous peoples, homesteaders, land grabs and more.
