Hi List I just wonder, if anyone else is having troubles with domains whose MX points to: spool.mail.gandi.net
Emails from one of our customers to a Gandi Customer are being rejected with: 554 5.7.1 <info@*>: Relay access denied I can reproduce with any sender email address over our email platform. The Gandi Customer in Question states he receives emails sent via other ISP. Conclusion: Gandi might be blocking our IP Range. Case opened with Gandi: The issue must be on our side, most probably misalignment of DNS PTR and EHLO Hostname! No Issue found on the Gandi side. Re-Tested manually by typing the exact EHLO hostname matching the PTR (hiding the Gandi customer domain here): # telnet spool.mail.gandi.net smtp Trying 2001:4b98:e00::1... Connected to spool.mail.gandi.net. Escape character is '^]'. 220 spool.mail.gandi.net ESMTP Postfix ehlo asterix.imp.ch 250-spool.mail.gandi.net 250-PIPELINING 250-SIZE 35651584 250-ETRN 250-STARTTLS 250-ENHANCEDSTATUSCODES 250-8BITMIME 250 DSN mail from:<nob...@asterix.imp.ch> 250 2.1.0 Ok rcpt to:<info@*.com> 554 5.7.1 <info@*.com>: Relay access denied Same also happens when using IPv4. I got in Contact with the Gandi Customer again and learned, that he also got complaints from other of his customers who were unable to send him emails. Looked at our logs, there are some emails received OK by: spool.mail.gandi.net but those are send to other domains, over that same server that is not able to send emails to that specific domain. As Gandi Support states there is no issue with that specific domain of their customer - what else could cause this issue?
