If we're all tired of seeing "Anyone from BLANK able to help with the IP BLANK being blocked?" Then perhaps this is a nod to BLANK that they need to do better at handling these inquiries or that their means of blocking IPs is too liberal.
It seems to me that large operators don't care a tinker's cuss about blocking small operators. If I'm unable to send to Outlook users, it is my fault by definition, certainly not Outlook's.
Some restrict the audience of possible complainants to the first RIR's delegates. That way a small operator can try to convince its ISP to either deal with such questions, or do a RIR registration in its name, neither of which is an available option to small customers.
All in all, there is a school of thought which considers email to be a convention among gorillas rather than an open standard.
Is that anyhow related to democracy? Best Ale -- _______________________________________________ mailop mailing list mailop@mailop.org https://list.mailop.org/listinfo/mailop
