Yes, this is likely the case but I cannot confirm. Some of these platforms
allow you to use your own domain with their platform, which raises many
questions about what else these domains might be related to in the mail
space or other DNS spaces.

To Jaraslow's point, the interest isn't limited to spam specifically but
the macro world of email, the DNS and platform abuse. The driver is in
understanding the activity and how it affects other platforms.
