The only one that seemed decent that I’ve tried on iOS recently was
emClient..
But I still end up going back to iOS Mail…

I wonder if I'm just best off using Apple's Mail app. I got into
Airmail, which wasn't *terrible*, but that turned into a huge fail
when they decided they wanted to throw ads at me whenever I started it
up.

Same! I *just* looked for something better for iOS, and it’s a
pretty big fail out there.

I'd explain it to you, but your brain would explode.

I always hope that Benny will start an iOS/iPadOS app. :)

Thanks, but not using Preside. It does have its own set of quirks
when I sampled it a while back and didn’t meet my needs.
Anyone have a newer iOS recommendation that works well with MM?
I also tried Preside, and found it didn't work for me (YMMV, of
course): the UI is so different that I could never be fluid with
it, and on my iPad it regularly gave failures (pending actions that
would never complete) that caused actual data loss.
Anything that's better, and that does not put someone else's cloud
server between my device and my IMAP folders?
Thanks,
R
