GNU/Linux would be better, otherwise there will be more fights. The
bigger problem would be people discussing OSS running on proprietary
platform .... those things would not interest *nix people. 'Libre
*nix' may be better.

But the email identity "This List discusses GNU/Linux & GNU, GPL
Software" is too long. Something should be done about it.
For the Kolkata GLUG (www.ilug-cal.info) we simply use
'linux-discussion' and 'Linux-discussion Mailing list'.
