Listers, Just recently, every time I try to save a file in let’s say TextEdit, I get a warning message that files with names longer than 31 characters cannot be saved on this system/volume. It didn’t used to happen. Have I changed some settings without knowing? If yes, where are they? Has anyone else these problems? 31 characters is not very long. I would miss this feature on the mac to have descriptive filenames.
