Jonathan, I experiences from time to time as well. When this occurs, I am Lord voice over with command F5. Then I start using the down arrow and right arrow keys. Once the right arrow does not result in a dang, the problem is usually resolved. And then reload voiceover with commander five and all works until I happens again usually several weeks later.
