Yeah, I had this very experience last year when I bought my Mini. I started out with a bluetooth keyboard and then I ran into the chicken or egg question. How do you pair the keyboard without speech and how do you start VO without a paired keyboard? So I went back to the Apple store the next day and bought a full sized USB keyboard and got through it. What happens for anyone not using VO is the dialog comes up saying that a keyboard is missing; you then get the opportunity to pair it and of course, a sighted person can just read the numbers and enter. We need VO to do that. Anyway, once VO is running, pairing the bluetooth keyboard is a sinch.
