Alex, you were misinformed. That won't work, as the keyboard has to be
paired, being it's bluetooth. But, how can he pair it, if it's the only
keyboard he's got access to? He need a keyboard that wasn't bluetooth to be
able to even get to the status bar bluetooth icon to start with, to pair it.
See what he and I're saying?
Chris.

I may well be wrong, but I think it will work with the keyboard
automatically, provided it is an official Apple keyboard. That said, it
never hurts to have a cheap usb keyboard hanging around, just in case.
Still, the worst that happens is you start the machine (be sure you have a
monitor connected or it won't be happy) and you can't get vo to come on, so
you shut down, get a keyboard, and try again.

I think this is your only option as the mac mini is a dumb terminal

Okay, I have just ordered my new mac mini, got the fusion drive, and all

good stuff that comes with it. My question is, how do you set it up
annishally? Since it doesn't have a bt keyboard paired with it already,
and
I don't want to go buy a USB just to activate my bt and connect my apple
wireless keyboard. Or is this my only option? Suggestions and ideas
welcomed please.
