Hello again, Again, I stress this is only an alternative and for those who already use hardware & software suited to their individual needs that is great. Books in this case will need to be unbound because this not a flatbed scanner. I know this may be a detraction for some, but having this when scanning my graduate textbooks would have saved hours on the preparation side of things. Never-the-less, I graduated, so all is well with that.
