Hi Brian
This is part of the problem that I turned in. Here is what I do for now. It is
annoying, but it works. When you get ready to input into a cell, just keep
typing even though it's saying busy. However, I have found that it's best not
to press the right arrow or the left arrow key, or the tab key until you hear
numbers ready. If you have a large amount of data to put in, you might want to
consider using TextEdit. Here's the way I arrange a file when I do this.
When I want the first column, I type it and then press the tab key second
column type it and press the tab key to go to the third column etc. when I put
in all the columns I'm going to put in press the enter key and just keep doing
it like that. Usually when I'm doing this, I don't have very many columns to
put in. When I get it all done, I pasted into numbers. As a precaution,
although I may not have to do this, I usually insert the number of rows I need
before I paste into Numbers.
I hope this helps
