Hello... I am happy you resolved your problem with the VO sound... I must 
say something, however, about the very first solution which was recommended 
to you: Do a clean install of your OS. In my 24 years of using a Mac, I 
have *NEVER* had to reinstall the OS. I admit that I might be very, very 
lucky. In my opinion, this veruy drastic step should be the last thing you 
try after all other avenues of troubleshooting have been explored. Just my
