Hello... I am happy you resolved your problem with the VO sound... I must say something, however, about the very first solution which was recommended to you: Do a clean install of your OS. In my 24 years of using a Mac, I have *NEVER* had to reinstall the OS. I admit that I might be very, very lucky. In my opinion, this veruy drastic step should be the last thing you try after all other avenues of troubleshooting have been explored. Just my opinion. HTH... BlindMacMan Lou.
