Hi, I have no idea what happened, but messing with the VO settings did the trick. Even setting everything back to where it was when I first opened the settings (with no sound), I can now get the speech to come through the speakers. I love my tech stuff, but there are plenty of times when it completely baffles me.
Just so I know, by "image of the virtual machine" does that just mean a snapshot that was backed up to Time Machine, or some other backup device? Thanks for your help guys!
