Hello Jürgen, Another quick thought: after you assigned a keyboard shortcut, instead of closing the Keyboard, check that the new shortcut appears in the "Keyboard Shortcuts" table. If you navigate from the "Shortcuts Categories" table where "Application Shortcuts" is selected, to the "Keyboard Shortcuts" table and interact, there should be a new entry, e.g., for iTunes, a shortcut definition for "Page Setup…" Also, if you used my exact example, I realize there was a typo -- I used Shift-Option-Command-P (without the "Control"). If you have VoiceOver turned on, that combination of Shift-Control-Option-Command-P moves you back to the previous control, and doesn't enter this as a shortcut, so use another shortcut combination!
HTH and sorry for the previous confusion in typing the instructions. Cheers, Esther -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
