Hi.
When you pair the Brailliant with a Mac, using bluetooth,You need to do the 
pairing within the VoiceOver utility in order for the device to be seen as a 
braille display.
You can do this under the braille section of the VO utility.
My other suggestion is to restore the factory defaults on the display.
Sorry I can't think of anything more helpful at this point.
