Well I'm enjoying the learning curve. Kind of strange though, the guy that sold me the Mac said that he set the mac up to come up with VO speaking. So I think that I did something to mess things up for now making that learning curve just a little steaper. I'll let you know how I make out with comand F5 etc.

Thaniks much,

Johnny

Hello Johnny:

I was kind of wondering how and when you were going to let us know how things
went once you shut it down :).

Try command F5 ... that should bring it back. If not, try command F5 plus the
FN or function key.

Let us know how it goes.

Take good care and I wish you enough.

practice the shut down command again. Except this t8ime, VO is not speaking at all.
So can someone please tell me how to turn the speech back on now?<grin>

Hi folks,

Well I finally got my MBP. The rep told me how to turn it on and do a
couple VO commands but didn't tell me how to shut the beast down for the
night. Would someone please be so kind as to tell me what the shut down
command is for the MacBook?

Thanks much,

Johnny
