Oh, I know. Thing is, first time I went to my music folder and copied, it said "430 items" which was correct, but it didn't paste correctly. So I went to my media folder where I've got a lot of things saved that aren't on my iPhone any more, just in my media folder, and tried there. Here, there were 247 items, and it worked. I cannot figure out why that folder worked, but the other, larger, more recent material did not. There's plenty of room on the flash drive, so it's not a space issue. I'm stymied. I'll probably just try again later or tomorrow. I'm finding the whole transferring files thing much more difficult on the Mac than on Windows, but I'll get there. I will never return to Windows.
