Hello all. I'm cross posting to Mac and IPhone because my question concerns a
better way to get books from Itunes on a Mac to the IPod. I have a very large
audible library, and it use to be possible to narrow the available choices for
synching by typing into the search box some portion of the title or author you
wanted. That no longer works for me. If I attach my Ipod and then set my Itunes
to the devices, books tab and then type into the text field I get only Ibooks,
never audible books included. And there doesn't seem to be a second search
field dedicated to audible books. It has thus become a real problem getting
books on and off of my IPod, because there seems to be no quick way to get to a
title in my very long list of audible books. Scrolling through them has become
incredibly sluggish since the format changed ant each book is now in its own
group, which requires a separate interaction. All in all, what use to be a snap
is now a pain. And using the audible app isn't really a great substitute since,
every time I delete an book, the app locks up on me and becomes unusable,
necessitating a deletion and reinstallation of the app, just so I can then
download a book and then read it and go through the same process all over
again. So what I'd love is to know if anybody has found an efficient way of
getting audible books into an IPod using Itunes with the latest upgrade.
