Hi Mary, With the method I suggested, there is no problems typing in a book title or author so it would speed up your search. But no. I don't manually have to add content. That is another setting all together under the summary tab. I actually have a bunch of playlists I've created checked to sync on my iPhone. But, if I ever choose to remove something, I find it easier to actually go through the playlists in the sources table, go to the media table, then uncheck the no longer desired content then, going through the tables on the device itself under the different tabs. Like you have just said, they can be tough to navigate.
