Mark,

I've had several successes pairing it, and most times, when it's paired, it 
actually works.  On the mac,  VO M twice, to bring up the bluetooth menu, VO 
right till you get to it, then go to add devices.  Make sure the Icom is 
flipped over, so the flat button, normally on front is facing the table, or the 
floor if you're holding it.  Set the mac to search for bluetooth devices first. 
 Then put the Icom in pairing mode.  When it pairs, wait a second and a dialog 
will pop up asking if you want to use this as a headset device.  Tell it yes, 
and you're set to go.  Hope this helps.

PS, the pairing button is to the left of the reset button, if held with the 
antenna facing towards the computer, black button down.
