Hi, Brianna: Not only is my MacBook Pro the only and thus my main computer, it's almost my main piece of furniture, since I moved a few months back. During the few months before that, my MBP was my only computer in some pretty rugged environments. As far as the battery, t's good to completely drain and recharge it once in a while, but they also don't damage easily if you leave it plugged in for weeks or even months. At least, that's my experience with this one.
