Mary, I am only just beginning to play with q n. I do not yet know how to read words or characters with it, but it does seem to make other things easier. I'd love to hear more about ways it can help, but only if you have time. I'm asking a heck of a lot of folks on this list, but oh my gosh I am learning so much!

I find that changing to words or characters results in qn starting from the beginning of the focused element rather than reading me the word or characters starting from where I actually am in the text, which may be several lines away from the start. Is this how its suppose to be? Makes no sense, since navigating using the "navigation" setting works to move line by line in such texts for instance.
