Geoff, You need to interact with the message table with VO-Shift-down arrow. You should be able to navigate with VO-right/left arrow and hear the column fields.
Start the jump with VO-shift-J. VO-down arrow will take you to the bottom of the list. This works on a Macbook Pro's keyboard without using the home or end keys.
