I suspect this may not have been tested, but should it work to use a Braille Lite Millennium with a USB to serial converter as a braille display using VoiceOver? this is an old Freedom Scientific device which I own and like for other reasons but which, oddly enough, one can't use as a display with JAWS since they don't support use of USB to serial converters.
