These days, I wouldn’t stick to one operating system. With accessibility evolving in various directions simultaneously, it’s good to keep your options open. Of course, a preferred platform is possible, but don’t discard the other ones. This is just like choosing a screen reader on the windows side. There are multiple choices. But don’t stick to one. One may have all the features you like, but eventually, one of the other three will have a feature your favorite does not have. Same thing with operating systems.

I am making that stuff Dennis. Actually not for shifting from Windows or Linux in particular (I in fact never used Windows after 2004), but a general guide as to what people should know. This will include some Windows bit for sure, but it is more about adapting to the Mac way of doing things, specially accessibility. I myself have just 8 months of experience but I have been in Linux world for over 15 years now so that helps to guide others. Regards.
