Hi Brad: Yes, I've heard how solid this feature is from many iPhone users over the months. Frankly, I think it worked like you describe in my earliest hours with my 17. Then, something happened, i.e. I did something unintentional. Ever since exactly the gesture and feedback you describe is taking me to a search text entry field for the App Library.
